it will work there just fine, why wouldnt it? Your charger has built in transformer, from 110-220v so all u need is the adaptor plug. Kensington makes a universal one that fits every plug all over the world, u can get it at best buy or circuit city etc for about 20 bucks…and your american laptop isint american its chinese most likely, they make them for the whole world, so thats why they are universal….
