I have got a job offer in Amman-Jordan. Can some one tell me if this is a safe place? Is it a calm and peaceful place or full of wars and fighting?

    War….? No…
It’s quite peaceful, but there was a boomings a year ago in a hotel!
Also, Amman is one hell of a place to live in!
I seem to be stuck in here!
If you can fit in, which is unlikely, you may enjoy it!
90% of the people are extremely rude…
The other 10% are not that nice either…
If you wish to visit it will be….a change, and there is a lot of attractions to go for, however I don’t recommend living here.
Especially if you can’t speak their mother tongue (Arabic)
    P.S: I’m an American…

Jordan is the safest country in the Middle-East, it has been always safe and continue to stay so. The capital Amman is experiencing a real-estate boom, there are many places to visit, restaurants, malls, pubs, sports activities….and alot more. The Dead Sea is 40 min. away from amman, great place and great resorts. Aqaba is 320 km south, on the red sea another great place to visit. Search the internet and you will find information on Jordan.
