The nearest one is Alia Hotel its really close to the airport and i dont think its expansive at all. The address is

Queen Alia Intl Airport PO Box 39158 Amman 11104 Jordan

Modern 6-story Airport Hotel located 3.5 km from Queen Alia Int’l Airport & 35 km from city center.

There is only one hotel close to the airport which is Golden Tulip Airport (http://www.goldentulipairportamman.com/)
If you are looking for a hotel inside Amman, may I recommend Ramada Hotel & Suites Amman, which is newly renovated and now has 207 rooms and brand new rooms along with international class service (http://ramadaamman.com/).
