well transportation is good because of the taxis, so say you use $25-30 a month for taxi, then food your need like maybe $50-100 out-to-eat or make food enetertainment u need like $50 with some money left over
enetertainment like at Mecca Mall; movie theater, bowling, shopping
it depends on home much u need for enetertainment and shopping and if u cook often or go out to eat

What is your situation? I ask because my situation was waiting on work that never came – I lived on about $300 a month. Yea. Sleep on the roof – $4 or $5 a night somewhere so x 30 + $120 to $150 month. $100 buys a lot of street food and coffee. Bus? Cheap white taxi? Newspaper? What else? This was 2003 – 04? I know there has been inflation but it still should be around in there however, with the refugees – rooms might have gone up?
Anybody know?
Amman? How much for central city – Cliff Hotel $ ?
Petra rooms – cheap place to crash $? Where? Any info on Petra?
Now. Tell us a little about you & what your trying to pull off on the cheap???

May I suggest Edom hotel at Petra. Location is great which is right next to the SIQ entrance.
